Chapter 12Demi and Joe get back to the house Joe carries her in and lays her on the couch. Kevin runs down the stairs Nick is following close behind.Kevin: Are you ok Demi?Demi: Yeah, the baby and I are fine.Joe: *mumbles* No thanks to you.Kevin: I'm sorry.Joe: *gets up in Kevin's face* You almost killed our baby.Nick: Leave him alone joe. Demi: Joe! Stop please.Joe: *backs off* Nick: *sits down* I still can't believe it.Demi: *laughs* Neither can I.Joe: *lifts her legs up sits down on the couch and puts them on his lap* Your happy though right?Demi: Yeah, i am.Joe: Dude! *looks down at Demi's feet* Your feet are huge!Demi: Why thank you Joe. *sarcasim* I wore those shoes today. *points at some shoes at the door*Kevin: Ouch. Can you make me a sandwich?Demi: I would but I can't get up.Frankie: Well I can help you.Joe: No, she means she isn't allowed. She is hurt and the doctor said she can't get out of bed.Kevin: Come on Frankie! I'll make you a sandwich.Kevin and Frankie go make a sandwich.Nick: When are you gonna tell Frankie.Joe: *looks at Demi*Demi: I guess we can right now...Joe: You sure?Demi: Yeah.joe: Frankie! Come here Demi and I have to tell you something.Frankie: What?Joe: Do you promise not to tell ANYBODY? Not even Ben or any of your friends.Frankie: Yeah.Demi: The reason why I can't get out of bed is because...Joe and I...well...Joe: Demi and I are having a baby.Frankie: Really?!?! Demi: Yeah. Yeah, I'll be up in a sec. *kisses her*Joe goes back down stairs.Joe: Kevin, I need to apologize for earlier.Kevin: Me too. I'm sorry. I know you are stressed.Joe: Really to tell you the truth. I am the happiest I've been in a while.Nick: *pats Nick on the back* I'm happy for you.Joe: I mean guys! I am a father!Frankie: Thats weird...They all laughJoe: Well, I am going to bed now. *starts goin upstairs*Kevin; Your bed is down here.Joe: Umm..Demi and I think its fine if we you know. *looks at Frankie trying to be PG rated*Kevin: *sighs* ok. Night.Joe goes back upstairs. Demi: Joe? I need to get changed into my pajamas...the doctor said I can't stand up for a whole day though.Joe: *smiles and laughs* I can help you with that.Demi: *giggles*Joe jumps on the bed and starts....well...undressing her.
