Oct 7, 2008 - such a wonderful song and her high notes are amazing. she sings them so easily ... just a few can whistle like her (Mariah, Shanice etc.) but Minnie is Minnie - the queen of whistle! :-)

Nov 8, 2008 - Wow, thank you so much for sharing this video. I've always wanted to hear her sing live, and she sounds so amazing! She can actaully sing in the whistle register, which is impressive.I've heard alot of great things about this woman as a singer, and I never doubted it, but now that I've seen this, I definitely know why she's liked so much. She may be gone, but her voice will never be forgotten. The ORIGINAL whistler for sure.

Nov 11, 2008 - I have to agree with Melancholio74. She is the queen of whistling. Some other artists that can hit some pretty high notes include Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, and yes, even Jessica Simpson. Check out Leona Lewis's version of this song. She does a pretty good rendition. Also, at the song when she sings "Maya" she's actually calling out her daughter's name.
