Oct 11, 2008 - fs9 and fsx don't use the trackir interface. fs9 uses fsuipc and fsx uses simconnect, neither has anything to do with naturalpoint, there's no justification for closed interfaces in games, the game developers want to support everything after all.

Oct 14, 2008 - yah, what a coincidence, eh ;) ? I don't think it's fair to say fs is the most popular by far. It's the biggest flight sim, but combat sim is huge too. I still think you've got a very interesting view of things if you truly think Freetrack would be stand alone without TrackIR. I don't think many outside of France or Australia hold that same view.
