These three cues from Star Wars: Episode III are a lot of fun to listen to, but they weren't included on the official soundtrack, sadly. One of the ways for me to remedy my resulting grief is to play 'em on piano, so that's what you're gonna listen to me do today. =DThe first cue, "Going to Utapau" starts as Obi-Wan arrives at the titular planet and flies down to the surface. The quieter sections are underscore for his conversation with Tion Medon, with a louder conclusion that leads to "Riding the Lizard" in the movie. (That's the beginning of the track "General Grievous.") However, I've decided to jump to another cue, called "Swimming, Droids, and Yoda Farewell." Its title pretty much sums it up. Then we follow the same transition as heard in the film as we continue to "News of the Attack", a fun cue featuring a 9/8 ostinato and classic Williams chromaticism that plays while Obi-Wan escapes Utapau, learning from Bail Organa that the entire Jedi order has been attacked simultaneously. The Force theme, the Imperial March, and Yoda's theme are all heard in some form or another, so listen closely!Enjoy! Don't forget to let me know how I can improve my arrangements, as this is all by ear and by no means perfect. (Don't tell me I played the Imperial March wrong, though...it really is written that way for that particular scene.)

Aug 26, 2008 - Yup, Space Mountain is pretty awesome! That and Indiana Jones are two of my must-rides. It feels a lot faster in the dark. As to the effects, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking me, but I think the stars are pretty much all just projections on the walls and scaffolding.

Sep 14, 2008 - News of Attack I wish that was on the Soundtrack I also Heard in Battlefront II
1taken Says:
Sep 14, 2008 - I know! X( It really caught my attention in the film when I saw it in theaters, and I was really disappointed when it wasn't included in the soundtrack. My arrangement is based partially off of that file from Battlefront II and partially off of the DVD audio.

Sep 15, 2008 - Are you going to do a Piano Arrangment on any other Star Wars,or Indiana Jones Music?
1taken Says:
Sep 15, 2008 - Almost certainly, yes. =) I don't have a WHOLE lot more Indy stuff to play, at least not yet, but I do a fair number of cues from the Star Wars movies.
