Sep 29, 2008 - just because you enhance yourself in whatever way; whether it be: make up, hair altering; perming colouring, straightening or curling etc, tanning, building up muscle, or whatever else people do to enhance themself does not mean that their PERSONALITY is not real or them just a person. Enhancing the physical you in whatever way, shape or form DOES NOT mean that you cannot be a real individual, she is not talking about her body but rather about who she is as a person.

She has to keep some of her personal life to herself. There is a difference in "keeping it real" and '"down to earth" i think you have your terms confused. How can you "keep it real" when you do a show about SKIN BLEACHING in the black community but you yourself got an undercover nose job, and wearing a blonde wig to assimulate into the same european society as the people on your show. I'm not trying to bash her i'm just calling her out.

You missed the point totally, enhancing urself 2 get a chance at succeeding does not mean u cannot address them issues, Oprah talks about loving urself but then diets. They r trying to pave the way for other ethnics to make it and if that means changing aspects of urself to get ur foot in the door so that u are in a position to make a change then so be it.

Her nose is a minor issue she is making a difference in the world and that is all that counts. Tyra did not ask for society to be biased, judgmental and unwelcoming of peoples Ethnicity. However, that is the world we live in.

Sep 30, 2008 - Even Caucasians in that business have to change themselves to be accepted so what hope does anyone else really have in terms of being raw and natural!I'm sure that if it was ok to succeed in that business with an afro, broader nose, Asian eyes and other ethnic attributes, she and other ethnic stars would not feel the need to alter themselves in order to get a chance at succeeding, its not their fault.

A life coach starts out with nothing and advises people on how to succeed even b4 they have succeeded themselves but if the info they are giving out is good and works I doubt anyone would be bothered about why their life coach is not living in that mansion they are helping u to get.
