Step back . I told myself , as I saw Bill leave the house.I rushed and called my friend Demi, no answer.I rushed and called my mom , an answer.Mom : Hello ?Selena : Hey, .. umm mom when are you getting home?Mom : Soon.. actually very soon , why?Selena : Just wondering , well i'll see you when you get home Mom : Alight .And she hung up.I went back to my room and got fully clothed.I turned on the tv in the living room , and I turned on the lamp since the sunset was hidden behind my neighbors roof , sliding down , it looked as if the sun were to land on the grass. I dozed off to sleep , which I don't know how I did since the strange man couldcome knocking on the door at any moment. But than I remembered my mom and dad would be home soon. It would be the first time , in a long time that I wouldn't mind their agurging with me . Atleast if " Bill " came back . They'd be home . Or since they'd be home he'd know not to come back.67 MINUTES LATER SETTING : DINNER Dad : So Selena how was school today ?Selena : It was good , i learned a new trick on my skateboard today.Mom : Very good Dad : Hopefully next time you can be a famous skateboarder.Mom : Well she did good honey , she'll progress over time.Selena : yeah ( my voice trailed off )I finnaly get the courage to speak again.Selena : Dad , a man named Bill stopped by today( without telling him how he got in when the doors were locked. )Dad : And may I ask a Bill , who ?Selena : Voyer or Vayer I can't remember what he said.Dad : Sweetie I don't know a Bill , actually I did untill he movedto the mountains. Mom : You didn't let me in did you?( I was thinking about saying back " Well actually he let himself in " but instead I said...)Selena : No , I know better than that, are you sure you don't know him? He had Dirty blonde hair , and blue eyes he was sort of a tall guy. Dad : No I don't . Mom : what's wrong sweetie( she noticed my facial expression was no longer happy )Selena : nuthing , I think he said he got the wrong house too (I lied )Dad : Good . Selena : Did you lock the back door this morning?Mom : It was unlocked. Why ? I always keep it unlocked incase you lose your key. Selena : Oh because I don't remember if I locked it ( I laughed ) I guess that nap made me loose my memory . Dad : Or I locked it , and lost my memoryWe all laughed . But now that I know how Bill got in the house.TWO DAYS LATER ...BEEP BEEP BEEP The alarm went off.I rolled back over. My mom soon came into the room,sat down beside the bed and kissed my forehead.Mom : Goodmorning sweetie , get up your going to be late.And that's all it took and I was out of bed.I rushed over to closet , managing to pull out a pair of jeans and a white tank top.I paired it with a beaded neckalace and a plain pink bracelet.When I reached school I went straight to my locker.demii : ( Selena's best friend ) Hey girl !Selena : I tried calling you last night where were you ?Demi : With the boyfriend" As usual " we both said at the same time , and chuckled.Demi : There's David , why don't you go talk to himSelena : I bother him every single day, I think it's a sign , when he doesn't come up to me firstDemi : oh shut up he's a guy , of course he won't approach you first if he's by him self.Selena : True , he would if he's with friend's to try to act cool .We both hugged , and went our seperate ways.I slammed my locked shut and headed towards David.I havent talked to David since we broke up.But we promised to be friends and such.Selena : hey friend , what's going on with you ?David : uh , nuthing same old . But I got to head out and get to class.Selena : oh.David : But since we only run into each other in the morning for five minutes everyday how about you and me , hang out after school ?Selena : Sure you should meet , me and Demi at my house after school today?David : Alright , write down directions and slip it into my locker before you leave school.He waved and was off.The day went by slow as usual. And i went tothe skateboard rink to skte with my friends.as I was on my way home , but some one was ready to come with me.It was him. The stranger , or the guy " Bill " as he said was supposbly his name.I tried not to make eye contact , and I ran the opposite direction pretending to be jogging as a normal person would. I walked home all the busy streets , inside of taking the side streets. I must of not noticed as I was running , my pink bracelet slid off.As soon as I knew it , he was finnaly out of site.But I wasn't out of his. It all made sense about two days ago. Either he locked the door behind him when he got in so he couldn't get out, or most likely so I couldn't get out.
