Players take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Throughout their fight for freedom, players carve their own path, wreaking havoc across the vast, open-world environment of Mars, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital city of Eos. Utilizing improvised weapons, explosives and re-purposed mining equipment and vehicles, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to tear through fully destructible environments in an unforgiving Martian landscape swarming with EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters, and the downtrodden settlers caught in the cross-fire. Red Faction: Guerrilla also features a robust multiplayer component, including several modes focused on destruction-based gameplay.

Jun 26, 2008 - they didn't pull a bad company cos red faction was one of the first games were you could destroy part of the map, besides in bad company you can't exactly blow up a whole building, you can blow shit loads of holes in it yes but ya know.and on the topic of bad company, i hope you can shoot through walls on this cos bad company let me down with that ¬_¬, supose to be realistic but it's not if you can't shoot through thin piece of wood....

Jul 4, 2008 - This game does look pretty impressive. It is something to look forward too, and it's gonna be a good game, but it's never gonna match up to the original Red Faction. There was something about that game that was just awesome- RF:G won't replace it and it doesn't look like it's trying to, thankfully. I'm just gonna take RF:G for what it is and not compare it to the original- the only way to really enjoy it, really.

Jul 8, 2008 - for ps2 i got RF 1 and RF 2... rf 2 has changed and now u have to be alias....parker was better..im glad u can be parker now :) but y did they use alias in rf2? its so dum lol...this RF better still have the rail gun..the rail gun has been really ownage over the last few RF"s and they better had it now.....better 1..doesnt take al long to reload..or overheat lol
