My Review:Not only is "Socialized Hate" an awesome song, it's also a grand album produced in the golden-era of thrash. Of course, it was largely ignored as a number of other thrash-bands popped up during this era and Atrophy was written off along with others as "just another metal band."Anyway, on with the review! The albums jam-packed with some cool solos and awesome riffage. Hell, the only time you won't be banging your head is probably during the intro to the album, "Chemical Dependency," but that's short live cause right after those sound-effects are down, your thrust into a world of fast picking at a moshing tempo. The vocals, though rough at times, fit the mood perfectly!Album Stand-outs:1.) Socialized Hate (Hey, this song!)2.) Killing Machine3.) Preacher, Preacher4.) Rest In PiecesThe downside:While this is an album I strongly recommend for the real thrash-fans and metalheads out there, the album does has its points where it gets slightly "dull." Actually, it's more of a "Well, this riffs nice and all, but nothing really special." Furthermore, I find the solos to be short-lived, but hey, that's probably just me! (I'm more of a "kick-ass, long ass solo!" kind of guy)Overall, I have to give this album an 85% out of 100%. It sure is a hidden-gem that is unknown to the general public, but it's certainly worth your time if you're a fan of metal! So if you like it what you hear, I strongly suggest you purchase the album, and support the band (who knows, might bring them out of retirement like Exumer!)(NOTE: If anyone is unhappy that I uploaded this video due to copy-rite issues, just tell me and I'll remove it. Please, don't use the ban-hammer; I'm too pretty to get smashed!)
