We have business districts, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, farm lands, beaches, rivers, beaches and historic districts plus so much more. South Carolina is a beautiful place to live.Well Ricky...I hope you have a blessed week my friend!!Peace!!

Jul 9, 2008 - Jack, you are correct about buying away from the coastal regions of our state. When they are hit it is terrible. However, back in the fall of 1989, Hurricane Hugo slammed our state with great force. Hurricane Hugo was a destructive Category 5 hurricane that struck Guadeloupe, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Croix, South Carolina and North Carolina in September of the 1989 Atlantic hurricane season, killing 82 people and leaving 56,000 homeless. I live about 4 hours from the beach and we (continued)

Jul 9, 2008 - PART TWO...still felt the effects of the storm all the way in the upstate of South Carolina. Our coastal regions are beautiful but I prefer living in the upstate. I am only a short ride to the mountains so I can go hiking occasionally. I'm glad you enjoyed this little video of my state. There are many beautiful places to explore.Well...Peace my friend!!

Jul 9, 2008 - Greetings Jack my friend!! If you buy a home in South Carolina, it would be best if you purchased one in the upstate where I live. Counties such as Spartanburg (my home county), Greenville or Anderson. Spartanburg and Greenville have the American BMW plant in both counties. BMW has employed several people and pays very well. Both Spartanburg and Greenville have many international businesses here. We do not USUALLY get effected by hurricanes. It's a nice place to live. Peace my friend!!

Jul 9, 2008 - My pleasure my friend, and you really should submit your video to your local and state representation for recognition on a scale probably not matching YouTube's reach..lol, but hey, every litter bit hurts...or damn...us Hollywood types always screw up language. Thanks again for your "show business".
MrJackGrayson Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Thank you very much Ethan! I would love to see a similar video from New Zealand. Perhaps your parents could help you put together a video of images from New Zealand. Anyway, I agree with you my young friend...South Carolina is a nice place. I can go camping, hiking, swimming at a local lake or boating at a local lake...and I'm only a few hours away from some of the beaches here.Share this with all your friends please!Peace!

Jul 22, 2008 - Thank you Daniel! Perhaps you could create a video of your own showing us some images from where you live. As for the song, that was simple. Most people from North Carolina and South Carolina learn this song as a child in school. Anyway, thanks for the compliments.Peace!!

Aug 3, 2008 - Wow great video. I never realized how beautiful South Carolina was. I was wondering, is Spartanburg is close to the ocean?
MrJackGrayson Says:
Aug 3, 2008 - Spartanburg is near the mountains. We are a little over 4 hours from Myrtle Beach and just a little over 3 hours from Charleston. So it's not really close but it's not that far either. When I was in high school many years ago, some of my friends and I would head off to Myrtle Beach immediately after school on Fridays and get there later that evening. We would enjoy the beach in the evening and leave Saturday evening to come home after spending the day at the beach.Peace!!

Aug 21, 2008 - Peg, glad you enjoyed this little video of "Images from South Carolina". We do have a beautiful state but parts of our state are in a drought state such as my county. My county is in a severe drought state. We sure could use some significant rain here.Peace!!
