Nov 2, 2008 - One thing that bothers me is this, as far as the election. Who really knows how many votes each candidate actually receives? Are you there to personally see your own vote accounted for? It'd obviously be impossible but think of the corruption that is already taking place, and the fact that the electoral college is made up of these scum. Unless an election is completely lopsided, no one would no if their votes were truly recognized, the people in office would choose for their own benefit.

Someone with sufficient banking and market knowledge combined with IT skills needs to be watching the movement of U.S. dollars from banks and large fin. institutions to off shore accounts where it is changed into the local currency or gold. This is critical.

Nov 4, 2008 - As a self employed American i have to dodge neocons, liberals, christians and atheists who never hire me based on "like-kind". In addition I have had to go out of work based on new corporate vendor policies.Then i have to compete with cultures that historically only trade with each other, the chinese, japanese, jewish, etc.If this keeps up America will NEVER pay anything back which will collapse the entire monetary system. Cuomo, HUD Secretary under Pres. Clinton, for securing subprime loans 4 people who COULDN'T AFFORD A HOUSE! Let's include Phil Gramm as co-sponser/endorser of this economic lunacy that has brought not only the US economy to its knees, but the entire world economic system! Nov 8, 2008 - Pres. elect obama wants to tax the rich & business making >$250k. The argument is that tax breaks will enable mid-class to purchase more, which helps business. But, the mid-class may not have jobs if high taxes inhibit business from operating, growth projects, all of which create jobs. Management precept: When organizations become stagnant, they die. That's why $ for research/development, projects, growth is vital to a nation's economy! Spreading wealth/socialism won't work!

Nov 10, 2008 - godozo, the economy just had a heart attack & raising taxes on business is asking it to run a marathon. Now more than ever businesses/rich need every dime to sustain jobs & what's left of the economy. Increasing corporate taxes will cause corps to sell marketable securities invested in other corps. All corps will do that, meaning less $ for projects, growth, & JOBS! There's more, but not enough space to explain. Good to protect corps, not bite the hand that feeds us. P.S. guatay isn't rich.

Your wonderful corporate bailout is failing and has no transparency and dividends funded by taxpayers are going to their shareholders and those securities are toxic meaning they have not "matured." It's total BS. Unregulated CDS passes bad assets everywhere and no one wants bad toxic assets and corporations and Investment bankers should have to file chapter 11 bankruptcy. So what they don't have the foresight to see the writing on the wall and weren't ready to produce fuel efficient vehicles. At least some members of Congress were smart enough to call the CEO's of the Big 3 before a congessional hearing to find out what guarentees they can make that they won't fold after receiving billions of our dollars.
