Oct 9, 2008 - I'm guessing you're probably online - there are default billboards in the game, but once connected to EA's servers, the game downloads actual advertisements for the billboards. The PLAV bounty for destroying billboards is a tricky ploy to get people to actually *look* at the ads.

Oct 15, 2008 - yeah, you have to be connected to live to see this. i've seen advertisements for the Robot Chicken DVD and other stuff. Live replaces the game's default boards with advertisements, just like Rainbow Six Vegas/2 and other games.
