Oct 8, 2008 - I've built trombe walls and sold insulating shades in the past and I had this same idea in the late 1970's but never built one. I was going to drill holes in the top of regular glass block and try various types of bleach to keep the algae from growing in the water. I was going to use window quilt shades between the glass and the glass block. I'll be glad to use such a product in my buildings when it does come out. I will bookmark your website so I can see when it hits the market.
