I am sooo freaking sorry I didn't post earlier! Monday's are my busiest night of the week! I have a club after school, then I have to babysit every monday, and then I have a 2-hour volleyball practice! And that's every Monday! Plus I still need to do my homework! So sorry!*************************Kevin's P.O.V.I arrived back at Zanna's house right on time. I rang her doorbell and she came outside. We got to my car and headed off to the car place. "So do you want to do something after this?" I asked. "Sure. What do you have in mind?" Zanna asked. "Well I something planned" I said with a grin. "What is it?" Zanna asked. "You'll see" I said. Zanna smiled and we arrived at the Lexus dealership. I showed her a couple of cars and said I would just wait to buy one later. We got back in my car and I took her to the suprise place I had in mind. Nick's P.O.V.I went into my room and sat on my bed. I was about to call Lauren when my phone lit up insted. 'Nessa' flashed across the screen and I answered. "Hey babe" I said. "Hi Nick" She answered. "What's up" I asked. "Um nothing much" Nessa sounded like she wasn't telling the truth. "Nessa, I know something's up. Tell me" I said. "Um well are we still 'together'?" Nessa asked. "Well do you want to be?" I asked. "Well I don't know. I really like you and I want to be with you. But we both know that can't happen. I mean were never going to see eachother. Well maybe like 3 or 4 times a year, but that's it" Nessa said. "I know. It sucks" I said. "So maybe we should see other people. It's only fair. I just don't think the whole 'Long distance' thing is going to work out" Nessa said sadly. "Yeah. But were still going to be friends right?" I asked. "Well yeah. But just friends" Nessa said. "Okay. Well I gotta go" I said. "Ok, bye. Oh and happy early birthday" Nessa said. I smiled to myself before saying "Thanks" and hanging up. I dialed Lauren's number, but right before I hit send I remembered she was on her way to visit her brother in college. I got up and went to see if anyone wanted to play basketball. Frankie was the only one interested so we played 'Horse'.Kevin's P.O.V.We pulled up to a soccer field that had woods behind it. I was planning on taking her to the clearing behind it where there was a lake, but I realized that wasn't very romantic. "Ok nevermind. Let's go somewhere else" I said dissapointed. We ended up going out for ice cream. "Okay I need to re-think my plan" I thought to myself. * 3 days later. Nick's 17th Birthday *Lauren's P.O.V.I woke up to see that I was still in the car, and the clock said 8:49 a.m. My parents were driving and my brother Kyle was asleep next to me. I looked out the window to see us pulling in our driveway. We had just gotten back from visiting my brother Zach in college. I yawned as I got out of the car. I went to grab my pillow when I suddenly remembered it was Nick's birthday. I raced up to my room and jumped in the shower. I started to blow dry my hair when I realized, why was I getting so worked up about seeing Nick? I started straightening my hair and went to my closet. I looked at all my clothes and usually I would just throw an outfit on, but now it seemed hard. All that was running through my mind was looking good for Nick. I finally decided on some short jean shorts *but not slutty* and I layerd a pink and white tank top. I walked over to my vanity and put on mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, and finally some lip gloss. I had to say, I did look good. I finally put in my diamond studs into my ears and grabbed his present that had been on my desk for about a week. I slipped on some flip flops and checked my phone to see it was 10:45. Jeeze, I didn't realize it took me that long to get ready. I rushed over to his house and knocked on the door. Joe answered and stared at me. I walked past him and saw the kitchen all decorated with streamers. Nick walked in and I rushed over to him. I gave him a hug and whispered in his ear "I need to tell you something". We walked up to his room and he closed his door. He looked me up and down and finally said "Wow". "Good wow or bad wow?" I asked nervously. "Definatley good wow" Nick smiled while walking over towards me. I handed him his present and he smiled. "You didn't have to get me anything" Nick said. "Yes I did" I smiled. He smiled back and stepped a little closer to me. "So, what does it feel like to be 17?" I smiled. "Hmm...well it feels pretty good. But it feels better now that your here" Nick smiled while putting his arms around my waist. I leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips. I felt him kiss back and I slightly pulled away. "Happy Birthday Nicholas"****************Well........are Lauren and Nick together? And UGH! Why didn't Kevin just propose?! Men...25 comments
