Jul 9, 2008 - This song is relaxing.

Jul 9, 2008 - Great! Perhaps, I will be able to do like that, someday.

piano6861 Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - Beautiful, Nina!

tubonianflute Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Ugh, I'm offended. I think Flautist is more sophistacated, but I can understand how you also think it's snobby. I just disagree.

Rexicano Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - You might want to spend more time learning how to play the flute and less time getting all offended.Misspelling sophisticated does not make you seem all that sophisticated.

tubonianflute Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Excuse me? I am a very fine Flute player and a SOPHISTICATED one at that. Who are you to call me out like that in the first place? I was having a casual conversation with another member of Youtube. There was no cause to abruptly call me out; in which case, you are the one who doesnt seem all that sophisticated.

Rexicano Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - I guess you got a thin skin and no sense of humor too. Must be you I saw with that old lady in the Caddy. I didn't call you out; get real. I guess the irony of your misspelling escapes you too.Sure, you're great on flute...no need to study phrasing or intonation...you're all set! What a cry baby.

tubonianflute Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Wat evs

adept1006 Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Wow. You and that tubonianflute person were facing off on YouTube!!! I have never seen that before. You must see that you guys were being retarded and that you should have complimented Nina on her wonderful performance. I play flute too and as long as the person enjoys it, it shouldn't matter. Don't make a big deal off of other peoples' comments.

Rexicano Says:

Jul 11, 2008 - Wow? Expressing opinions is retarded now?Try to follow along Sweetie Pie;I did compliment her right off the bat at my first post.See that you watch LOST; So, do you wish they all got along better on the island? Love the show but sure is a lot of conflict there! Guess you only like it in fiction? Enjoy.

Jul 12, 2008 - stop that you two . why is it all us flute players have to treat each other like crap. stereotypes about us are true we blackstab and talk horrible of the ppl from our sections. tisk tisk. this is a nice video and Nina probably doesnt want all us pickin at each other. do that on each others comment walls not the video. maybe use some constructive critizism(i cant spell) and keep the nasties to yourselves.

itsthequeen113 Says:

Jul 12, 2008 - Very nice job Nina. Love the song.

Jul 13, 2008 - LOVED IT!

miamigurl123 Says:

Jul 13, 2008 - You're right. She does have a tendency to slouch sometimes, but she's absolutely correct in leaving her stand at that height. Countless musicians do so-- you should see cellist stands and see how low and away they are from the player! Putting the stand too high creates a barrier between the audience and the musician, inhibiting the connection we try to make with our audience. Granted, she does have a bad habit of slouching, but it's possible to play w/o slouching with the stand that low. :)

miamigurl123 Says:

Jul 13, 2008 - Beautiful job, Nina!! A fabulous performance! I like your Burkart better, though. :)

strav12 Says:

Jul 13, 2008 - Wow! Another clever composition/piece stunningly performed! Great follow up to the Ibert - may there be more gratitude than envy.........

sushi4soul Says:

Jul 13, 2008 - 1 word.Exccellent!(:

Rexicano Says:

Jul 14, 2008 - Nina doesn't need you to speak for her...and what's so different about you and your complaining?I saw your Bach; you REALLY need some more time working on your own basic technique. Go tisk tisk away at yourself for your own nasties and incredibly bad playing. YouTube is Free Speech at work; you can complain but others not? Idiot.

reddieclarinet07 Says:

Jul 14, 2008 - This is wonderful playing and those of you that think anything different, I don't believe this woman would have her doctorate if she was a "bad" player - they just don't have that. I slouch a little when I play, but that's because of a spinal disorder. Watch her active breathing video and you'll see it helps to compensate for our "less than perfect" posture.
