n8phin Says:
Jun 22, 2008 - Well it looks like Chris plays the piano in the intro and just loops it so he can dance around and all that. Not exactly sure what Jonny is doing with his keyboard, though.
n8phin Says:
Jun 22, 2008 - o_OThe synchronization in this video is terrible for some reason.
n8phin Says:
Jun 22, 2008 - Well, out-of-sync audio isn't going to stop me from watching Coldplay! :)
bsgrdn Says:
Jun 22, 2008 - You can either watch it with the sound turned off, OR listen to it with your eyes closed! ;-)

Jun 25, 2008 - I thought Chris Martin didnt use drugs? He made himself look like a right testicle on this gig, his zombie walk on 9.42 for the mic that isnt there was not cool.

Jun 28, 2008 - Don't get me wrong, I love Coldplay, and all of their new album, but their performances of the new songs aren't up to par with their history of great performances. I myself am a musician and look to concerts as a time to see a band truly perform and rearrange the sounds on an album to be played live. Coldplay doesn't do this anymore, instead they take the easy way out, and play to backing tracks. this now leads me to conclude that coldplay are a GREAT band recorded, but are inept live.
ShootAAppleOffMyHead Says:
Jun 28, 2008 - its chris martin his voice has sounded terrible lately but trust me coldplay are amazing live!
dialecto01 Says:
Jun 29, 2008 - Well being a musician you should know 99% of bands use some sort of programmed secuences when playing live just to sound bigger. Thats doesnt mean they are not playing live. its just adittional programming on top of what they do. Coldplay has been doing this from day one. You noticed now cause this album has a lot of violins and extra keyboards that makes it more noticeable.
pesterlovis Says:
Jul 1, 2008 - i think that jay z had written the beat for Lost! It's a selfplagiarism of one of his first single.. i didn't remember the title i think it has been published around 1999...anyway coldplay one of the greatest band all around the world!

FilmVintage Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - Dude, I respectfully totally disagree. I am a musician and performer, as well. The four guys play the main guitar, bass, and drum parts, the backbone and foundation of the songs. I see nothing wrong with using backing tracks of the strings, organs, etc. It makes the song better, closer to the CD. They used to play songs like Fix You without the extra organs or In My Place without the strings; sounded less full and rich. Using select backing tracks enhance live Coldplay, not detract.

Jul 19, 2008 - Gee FUNNY IN A IRONIC WAY THAT THE BBC CAN CALL IT A FREE CONCERT WHEN THE members of THE BAND ARE SLAVES!!! I GUESS THATS WHY THEY REFER TO IT AS THE "FREE PRESS"!

Tnspieler1012 Says:
Jun 20, 2008 - Unfortunately they have a light backtrack for some songs, mainly only for synths. But they are actually playing their keyboards. At the secret gig in amsterdam they tested their instruments before the song, and they do work.
