RECAP:Nick: (babbling quickly.) well there was this gum, and then uh, a car and uh, wait the car, then the gum, and I uh, got stuck and I uh, knocked over onto the ground, uh, Kady fixed, uh, my knee, and uh, I think there was something that had to do with vanilla pudding.*Frankie raises his brow in confusion*Frankie: Riiiiiiiiight. Nick, you need to go to the happy place with Joe?Nick: (rubs the back of his head.) mustve hit my head harder then I thought.Kady: (to herself) Nick? Thought his name was Ned! Wait is that Frankie Jonas in his room?CURRENT:Frankie: Nick, Im gonna get mom and dad. You need help!*Frankie walks out. Nick goes to change. Kady shuts her eyes. When she opens them again, Nick is getting into his bed. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas come in. Mrs. Jonas is carrying an ice pack and a thermometer. She places the pack on Nicks forehead. She puts the thermometer in his mouth. After a moment, she takes the thermometer from Nicks mouth and reads it.*Mrs. Jonas: 99.9˚. No school for you tomorrow young man!Nick: Huh?Mr. Jonas: Can you tell us what happened, Nick?Frankie: He said something about a car, something about Kady, something about hitting his head, and then something about Vanilla pudding.*Mr. and Mrs. Jonas look at Frankie with odd looks.*Frankie: Well he did say it!Nick: Ill be fine!Mr. Jonas: Nick, you dont know whats going on. You say you hit your head. Does it still hurt? How hard did it hit?Nick: hard? And yes its still hurts.Mrs. Jonas: I think we oughta get you to the emergency room.Nick: But mom-Mrs. Jonas: No buts! Paul, help me lift him!*Mr. Jonas picks Nicks feet up. Mrs. Jonas lifts him by the arms. They carry him into the hallway. Joe and Kevin look at their parents in confusion.*Mrs. Jonas: Nick claims he hit his head. He has a fever and hes babbling like an idiot. Were taking him to the emergency room. Come with us. You too, Joe.*Joe smiles and under his breath goes yes!, celebrating his getting out of the house without being kidnapped. The boys follow their parents to the side of the house where the tour bus is hidden. The pile in and Mrs. Jonas puts Nick in his bunk. Joe and Kevin go over to Nick.*Kevin: You ok, bro?Nick: Only if the potatoes are alive.*Kevin turns to Joe. They are not sure whether to laugh or cry. They look back at Nick. His eyes are closed.*Nick: Theyre ALIVE!!!!!THE POTATOES LIVE!!!! Joe: Nick, did someone put crack in your Fruit Loops this morning?Mr. Jonas: No, Joe. I think your brothers just a little delirious. Its common with head injuries.Kevin: A little?Joe: Hes talking about walking French fries!*Frankie goes to Nick.*Frankie: hey Nick, you want a muffin?Nick: Is it potato flavored?Frankie: Oh, no.*Mrs. Jonas picks Frankie up.*Mrs. Jonas: Just let Nick rest. I can see a bruise now on his head. He needs his rest.*A few minutes later they arrive at the emergency room. Mr. Jonas goes and gets the paramedics to come in and take Nick inside on a stretcher. Nick is now asleep. Once everyones inside, Kady is watching from a corner.*Kady: Oh my god! I was dating a Jonas Brother? No way! I cant keep this to myself.*Takes out phone and dials number.*Kady: Hi, Carmen? Im outside of the Wyckoff Emergency room, and I just made an incredible discovery.
